v0.3.1
agent v0.3.1
The Stone-Age.io edge agent: a NATS-native management and observability
daemon for Linux, Windows and FreeBSD. Outbound-only -- it opens no
listening port.
Install it as a service on the target host:
./agent -config /etc/agent/config.yaml -service install
./agent -service start
Example configs for each OS are in configs/, and the install guides are in
docs/.
Changelog
- 56f5a9c Merge pull request #5 from stone-age-io/exec-hardening
- 112309f fix(build): the stub platforms compile again, and CI keeps them honest
- 5fba6b4 fix(exec): a failed command returns its output, and the timeout holds
- 6e2a17e fix(exec): a timeout kills everything the command started
- 2677422 fix(exec): allowlisted commands run through /bin/sh on FreeBSD
- 5b593da fix(exec): the caller's string never reaches a shell
- 565bcfa fix(logs): the allowlist alone decides what cmd.logs can read
- 335aa27 fix(service): check the action before touching the service manager
- bb6ea37 refactor(metrics): remove exporter mode; gopsutil is the only collector
- 9e81407 release: v0.3.1
Pre-1.0: treat a minor version as potentially breaking, and pin what you
deploy.
This replaces leaf-sync, which used to be released from the
platform repo. Its leaf-node
duties are capabilities of this agent now, so a site runs one binary rather
than two. See docs/leaf-node.md.
