Fixed

  • obsidian_help no longer invents verbs. The help parser treated any flush-left Word: line as the start of a command list, so prose under Options: and Notes: was collected as CLI verbs — Most, Quote, Use, and vault=<name> all showed up in the verb index alongside real commands. Verbs are now read only from the Commands and Developer sections. Verified against live obsidian-cli help: all 102 real verbs still parse, including plugin-annotated ones like templater:create-from-template (#53).

Added

  • Root AGENTS.md. Points coding agents at the README's install prompt and tells them not to hand-write claude_desktop_config.json. The manual config block exists as a fallback, not a first move, and this names which path is which (#92).

Changed

  • Version bumps are one command. npm version <bump> --no-git-tag-version now updates package.json, package-lock.json, and server.json together. Previously the three drifted apart — the last three bumps touched only package.json, leaving server.json at 2.0.2 and the lockfile at 1.4.0 (#95).
  • Manifest drift now fails the build instead of self-healing at publish. A version-sync test asserts all three manifests agree. Nothing was published wrong before — publish.yml rewrote server.json from the git tag — but the committed files misled anyone reading the repo (#91).
  • CI runs on dev. test.yml triggered only on master, so no feature PR had ever run the suite; all 198 tests sat idle until the release PR. Feature PRs are now tested before they merge (#94).
  • README leads with the install prompt. The Claude Code install prompt is the first complete artifact on the page; the manual config JSON is collapsed below it (#89).
