Release list
stooart v0.1.1
Stooart now ships small standalone executables built with scriptc's C backend and embedded QuickJS. The executable needs no installed Node.js or Bun; the npm launcher uses Node.js 24.10 or newer.
- Separate npm packages for macOS arm64 and Linux x64. npm installs the matching platform automatically.
- Node.js, pnpm, Vite+, and Effect's Node platform replace the Bun build and runtime integration.
- Persistent Jev setup with hidden terminal input, plus fixes for journaling, verifier processes, and cancellation in the scriptc runtime.
- Updated installation, contributor, and runtime documentation.
Install with npm install -g @compootor/stooart@0.1.1. Deno users can use jsr:@compootor/stooart@0.1.1 with a stooart executable on PATH.
CI passed source checks, both native CLI suites, package installation, and JSR dry-run checks for commit 5759042. Release assets are the unchanged CI candidate. npm archive integrity and JSR source contents were independently verified after publication. The workflow's final check incorrectly compared unexpanded source imports with Deno's published import-map expansion, so the GitHub release was completed from the verified candidate.
