Changelog :

Updated Imports: The script initially used imports such as urllib, HTMLParser, and urlparse, which have been either renamed or restructured in Python 3. These imports were updated to their Python 3 equivalents to maintain functionality.

Print Statements: Print statements throughout the script were updated to conform to Python 3 syntax. This involved adding parentheses and modifying formatting where necessary.

Input Functions: The raw_input() function, used for user input, was replaced with input() to align with Python 3 standards.

Requests Handling: Adjustments were made to the handling of HTTP requests and responses using the requests module to ensure compatibility with Python 3.

String Manipulation: Certain string manipulation operations were modified to adhere to Python 3 string handling conventions.

Exception Handling: Exception handling was revised to comply with Python 3 syntax and standards.

Command-Line Argument Parsing: The argparse module usage was updated to handle command-line arguments in accordance with Python 3 conventions.

Compatibility Checks: The compatibility of third-party modules such as mechanize and BeautifulSoup with Python 3 was verified, and adjustments were made where necessary.

Purpose:

The purpose of this update is to make the script compatible with both Python 2 and Python 3 environments, ensuring its continued usability and maintainability across different Python versions. These modifications aim to extend the lifespan of the script and facilitate its integration into modern Python projects and workflows.
