  • Bugfixes:

    • Recognise T (tablespoon), Ts (tablespoons), t (teaspoon) and ts (teaspoons) as units.
    • Improve labelling of units specified in uppercase (e.g. TSP, TBS).
    • Improve labelling of "dessert spoons" as units.
    • Don't consider "rack" to be a unit in contexts like "racks of lamb".
    • Improve foundation food matching be stripping diacritics and letter-like symbols (e.g. ®©™) from ingredient names.
    • When loading the FDC data, do not discard the lower ends of percentage ranges in descriptions.
    • Fix exceptions raised is a token labelled as UNIT contained " or '.

  • Update FDC data to 2026-04-30 release.

  • Fully expand ingredient names that are split with a hyphen to indicate a common suffix e.g. "1 cup long- or short-grain rice" is expanded to "1 cup long-grain or short-grain rice".

  • Improve accuracy for sentences containing multiple ingredient names.
