Install

  1. Download AccountyCat-v1.0.5-apple-silicon.dmg.
  2. Open the DMG and drag AccountyCat.app into your Applications folder.
  3. Launch AccountyCat from Applications.

The app and the DMG are both signed and notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper opens them without warnings.

What's new since 1.0.4

  • Custom models in online mode too — the online add-model flow is unified with the local add-model UI. Fixed a local token-budget bug that was truncating prompts unnecessarily.
  • Local runtime — gemma-4 support, safe runtime/app updates, an incompatible-model guardrail, hardened first-chat startup, and faster warmup/first-load with a clear "not ready yet" indicator.
  • Cleaner add-custom-model state/UI and assorted UI fixes.
  • Chat profile actions — AC now trusts its own chat judgment instead of a deterministic keyword gate, so the reply and the action it takes always agree (e.g. a bare "great, do it" confirmation no longer gets silently dropped). The profile-name parser is hardened against filler-only references.
