Install
- Download
AccountyCat-v1.0.5-apple-silicon.dmg. - Open the DMG and drag AccountyCat.app into your Applications folder.
- Launch AccountyCat from Applications.
The app and the DMG are both signed and notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper opens them without warnings.
What's new since 1.0.4
- Custom models in online mode too — the online add-model flow is unified with the local add-model UI. Fixed a local token-budget bug that was truncating prompts unnecessarily.
- Local runtime — gemma-4 support, safe runtime/app updates, an incompatible-model guardrail, hardened first-chat startup, and faster warmup/first-load with a clear "not ready yet" indicator.
- Cleaner add-custom-model state/UI and assorted UI fixes.
- Chat profile actions — AC now trusts its own chat judgment instead of a deterministic keyword gate, so the reply and the action it takes always agree (e.g. a bare "great, do it" confirmation no longer gets silently dropped). The profile-name parser is hardened against filler-only references.
