Modbus Skills 0.2.0 is the first public release.

Turn a vendor Modbus manual, spreadsheet, or register map into a human-readable user map, JSON/CSV exports, bounded read plans, and optional Node-RED, Modpoll, or ModScan files. The tools are read-only: they do not generate writes, broadcasts, discovery scans, or unbounded polling.

Highlights

  • 20 focused skills for Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, and other Agent Plugins 1.0 clients
  • $compile-user-map as the primary path from an OEM source to engineering files
  • Deterministic runtime, synthetic fixtures, and repository verification
  • Node-RED exports have a recorded native acceptance result

BETA

Modpoll, Witte Modbus Poll, and ModScan exports are BETA until those native applications are verified. Generated files stay read-only and labeled as unverified.
