Equipment
Track all your diving gear, monitor service schedules, and never miss a maintenance deadline.
The Gear tab shows all your equipment with status indicators.
The following statuses are defined in the EquipmentStatus enum:
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Green | Good to use |
| Needs Service | Yellow | Service due soon |
| In Service | Blue | Currently being serviced |
| Retired | Gray | No longer in use |
| Loaned Out | -- | Equipment lent to someone else |
| Lost | -- | Equipment lost |
Note: "Overdue" is not a discrete status. It is a computed property (isServiceDue) derived from the last service date and service interval. When service is overdue, the item's badge turns red, but the underlying status remains unchanged.
- Tap + Add Gear from the Gear tab
- Fill in the equipment details
- Set service interval if applicable
- Save
