Equipment Management

Track all your diving gear, monitor service schedules, and never miss a maintenance deadline.

Equipment Catalog

The Gear tab shows all your equipment with status indicators.

Status Indicators

The following statuses are defined in the EquipmentStatus enum:

Status Color Meaning
Active Green Good to use
Needs Service Yellow Service due soon
In Service Blue Currently being serviced
Retired Gray No longer in use
Loaned Out -- Equipment lent to someone else
Lost -- Equipment lost

Note: "Overdue" is not a discrete status. It is a computed property (isServiceDue) derived from the last service date and service interval. When service is overdue, the item's badge turns red, but the underlying status remains unchanged.

Adding Equipment

  1. Tap + Add Gear from the Gear tab
  2. Fill in the equipment details
  3. Set service interval if applicable
  4. Save
