Cloud Sync

Configure cloud synchronization. For a complete guide to syncing across devices — including a free Cloudflare R2 setup — see Multi-Device Sync.

Google Drive

  1. Go to Settings > Cloud Sync
  2. Tap Connect Google Drive
  3. Sign in with your Google account
  4. Grant permissions
  5. Sync is enabled

iCloud

  1. Go to Settings > Cloud Sync
  2. Tap Connect iCloud
  3. Sign in if prompted
  4. Sync is enabled

Submersion uses an app-managed JSON sync file stored in a Submersion Sync folder in your cloud provider. If you switch to a custom storage folder, app-managed cloud sync is disabled and your storage provider handles syncing instead.

S3-Compatible Storage

Sync through any S3-compatible storage provider — Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, MinIO, or a self-hosted server. Available on every platform.

  1. Go to Settings > Cloud Sync
  2. Tap S3-Compatible Storage
  3. Enter your Endpoint URL, Bucket, Access Key ID, and Secret Access Key
  4. Tap Test Connection, then Save

See Multi-Device Sync for a step-by-step Cloudflare R2 example.

Sync Options

Option Description

Sync on Resume Run a sync when returning to the app
Sync Now Manual sync trigger
