Subthiel is an independent studio from Viersen, North Rhine-Westphalia, run by Marco Thiel. It works across two crafts that share the same mindset: making things properly, from the first layer to the last line.

• 🖨️ Additive manufacturing. Designed and 3D printed products, functional parts, and small runs, from idea and CAD to a finished, packable object.
• 💻 Software development. Web applications, integrations, automation, and the tooling that keeps the workshop and the shop running.

The two sides are not separate hobbies, they feed each other: physical products get proper storefronts, tooling, and automation, and software projects stay grounded in something real that ships.

Our two accents are functional, never decorative, and never mixed:

• 🩷 Fuchsia always means 3D printing.
• 🩵 Teal always means software.

This organization is the home for Subthiel's code and assets. Most product and shop repositories are private, but this is also where we plan to publish the parts worth sharing:

• 🛠️ Tools & utilities we build for our own workflow, printing, and shop operations.
• 📖 Open source projects and small libraries, released when they can stand on their own.
• 🎨 Brand & design assets and the conventions behind them.
