What's new in v2.2.0

Mission Mode

Give the agent a high-level goal — it plans the work, asks for confirmation, and executes step by step.

local-cli --mission "Add JWT authentication to the Flask API"
# or inside a session:
/mission Refactor all database queries to use async/await

The agent breaks the goal into up to 8 concrete steps, shows you the plan, then executes each step with a pause in between. You stay in control the whole time. Think of it as a free, local alternative to Devin.

Auto-Test Loop

Enable once, the agent handles the rest. After every write_file / edit_file, your test suite runs automatically. On failure, the output goes straight back to the agent — it diagnoses and fixes the issue without any human input.

/autotest pytest tests/ -x
/autotest npm test
/autotest off

Works with any test runner. The agent iterates until tests pass.
