Vajra v0.15.14 (Stable - 2x Speedup with mimalloc)

Choose a tag to compare

@sugan0927 sugan0927 released this 23 Oct 17:18

🚀 Major Performance Release: 2.2x Faster!

What's New?

  • mimalloc Allocator: Replaced the default system malloc (glibc) with Microsoft's mimalloc. This eliminates thread contention during heavy memory allocation under high concurrency.
  • Massive Throughput Boost: Achieved 2.2x higher requests per second compared to v0.15.13.
  • Lower Latency: Cut response times by more than half at high concurrency.

Benchmark Highlights (1-core VPS, WordPress, Pre-compressed Brotli):

  • c=50 Throughput: 11,133 req/sec (4.03ms latency)
  • c=100 Throughput: 10,465 req/sec (9.02ms latency)
  • c=200 Throughput: 10,448 req/sec (17.71ms latency)

Vajra v0.15.13 (Stable - Zero-CPU Compression)

@sugan0927 sugan0927 released this 23 Oct 16:29

🚀 Performance Release

  • Pre-Compressed Cache: Added gzip_static and brotli_static support. Cache generates .gz and .br files on the fly.
  • Zero CPU Overhead: HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 now serve pre-compressed files directly from RAM (/dev/shm), bypassing dynamic compression.
  • TLS 0-RTT: Enabled Session Resumption and Early Data (0-RTT) for instant handshakes on repeat visits.

Benchmark Highlights (1-core VPS, WordPress, c=100):

  • Throughput: 1,365 req/sec → 4,923 req/sec (3.6x faster)
  • Latency: 66ms → 19ms (3.5x faster)
  • CPU Load: Near zero on cache hits!

v0.15.7 — CDN Support (X-Forwarded-For)

Choose a tag to compare

@sugan0927 sugan0927 released this 20 Oct 08:09

🚀 Fixes

  • CDN Support: DDoS protection and IP access control now read the real client IP from X-Forwarded-For, X-Real-IP, and CF-Connecting-IP headers.
  • max_conns_per_ip default raised to 10000 — prevents accidental IP bans when the server sits behind a CDN like Cloudflare.
