While the beta releases are generally stable, they are not recommended for production use as they have not been thoroughly tested.

For a new installation, download the source code package and extract it to a fresh directory. Upgrades require the use of the upgrade package and the associated MD5 hash file. An MD5 hash for the source code packages, although unnecessary, is provided on the main site: http://firealarms.redbat.ca/mrs/#downloading
