  My name is Abdelhak Essanhaji (abdelhakessanhaji@gmail.com). I am building
  a free, ad-free, offline mobile app for reading and memorizing the 40
  Hadith of Imam an-Nawawi.

• Your purpose in using this API:
  One-time content sourcing only: I need to fetch the Arabic text (and the
  English translation) of the 42 hadiths of the "40 Hadith Nawawi"
  collection, to embed them verbatim in the app's local offline data with
  clear attribution to Sunnah.com. The app itself is 100% offline and will
  never call the API at runtime.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second: 1

• Maximum requests per day: 200

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
  An offline dump of the 40 Hadith Nawawi collection (Arabic + English)
  would actually serve my use case perfectly, if that is easier for you.
  Otherwise, minimal API access is enough — I only need to fetch 42 hadiths
  once.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
  Arabic (primary) and English.

• What programming language will your API client be in?
