LineageOS 23.2 (Android 16) — lilac 2026-08-17 (SO-02K NFC)

Adds SO-02K (docomo) NFC support — confirmed working by an SO-02K user.

One ROM now serves both the G8441 and the SO-02K. The NFC controller is detected at boot — NXP PN553 or Sony CXD224x + ROHM BD7602 FeliCa. If detection is ever wrong, override it in Settings → Xperia Parts → NFC controller and reboot.

Also fixes kernel module loading, which was broken for every module on this kernel.

What's new in this build

• Fixed media playback crashing in YouTube, Sony Music, YT Music and the LineageOS music app.
• Fixed the audio HAL crashing every time a video recording started.
• Fixed CPU core partitioning so background tasks no longer compete with the app you are using.
• Enabled background blur/transparency (notification shade, quick settings, recents).

Known issues:

• SELinux permissive.
• Cellular calls/SMS/data untested.

Flash: unlocked bootloader, BACK UP first. Boot the recovery, adb reboot sideload, then adb sideload lineage-23.2-20260810-UNOFFICIAL-lilac.zip. Format data on first install.
