LineageOS 18.1 (A11) for bach — 20260907 (modem fix)
Update over 20260618 — the modem works again, and USB tethering with it.
- SIM and mobile data are back. Since the move to Android 11 the modem was never
initialised:rildresolves its RIL library fromrild.libpath, a property this port
stopped emitting, and unset it slept forever whileinit.svc.ril-daemonreadrunning. - USB tethering works again. The vendor's RNDIS composition depends on
persist.vendor.usb.config.extra; unset, the USB gadget was never reconfigured. - 42 further properties restored, all live on 17.1 and since dropped — RIL behaviour,
the data path, display, audio, Bluetooth, the FRP block device. Each kept only after its
reader was found in a shipped binary. Ledger indocs/LOST-PROPS.md.
Unchanged: SELinux enforcing, the CVE-backported kernel, cameras, audio, Wi-Fi/BT, sensors.
LineageOS 18.1 (A11) for bach — 20260618 (enforcing)
Update over the 20260617 build — SELinux is now enforcing:
- SELinux enforcing. Earlier builds ran permissive (a bring-up shortcut). This build switches to full enforcing — the proper security posture — and still boots cleanly, even on a freshly wiped /data.
- Cameras still work under enforcing. Enforcing was blocking the reused A10 vendor's camera binder path (
vndservicemanager → cameraserver); allowed it, so live preview + stills work as before. - Sensors still work under enforcing. Allowed the Huawei sensors HAL to reach its oeminfo calibration socket (
/dev/socket/oeminfo_nvm), which enforcing was blocking. - fstab cleanup. Dropped
quota/reserve_rootfrom /data (they could hang the first-stage mount).
Cameras (live preview + 8 MP stills + 1080p video via Open Camera), audio, Wi-Fi/BT, sensors, DivestOS CVE-backported kernel unchanged. Self-contained system + boot + vendor TWRP zip — clean-install from any base, or flash over an existing build (keeps /data).
LineageOS 18.1.0 — bach — 2026-06-17 (fingerprint + HAL-spam + ART-heap fixes)
Update over the prior 20260617 build — three fixes (re-spun asset):
- Fingerprint now works. Shimmed the missing Huawei
__android_logPower_printsymbol sofingerprint.msm8937.soloads instead of crash-looping the fps HAL. Enroll under Settings -> Security -> Fingerprint. - No more HAL crash-loop log spam. Disabled the dead
ims_rtp_daemon(IMS/VoLTE, no modem) andwifidisplayhalservice(Miracast HAL lib absent). - ART heap fixed — heavy apps no longer OOM at startup. The reused A10 vendor.img lacked the
dalvik.vm.heap*properties, so ART fell back to ~16 MB and apps like Telegram/browsersOutOfMemoryError-crashed on launch. Now set: heapgrowthlimit=192m, heapsize=512m.
Cameras (live preview + 8 MP stills + 1080p/30 video via Open Camera), audio, Wi-Fi/BT, DivestOS CVE-backported kernel unchanged. System+boot+vendor TWRP zip; flash over an existing LOS 17.1 install -- keeps /data.
LineageOS 18.1.0 — bach — 2026-06-16 (unofficial)
LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) for Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10 (bach) — build 2026-06-16.
Self-contained TWRP-flashable archive — installs from any base (stock EMUI, other ROM; no prior LOS 17.1 required). Contains system + boot + vendor in one zip.
