nika.sh v4.6.0 · the black frame, and the page learns its colour law
The device contour is rebuilt around one rule: the material is black, the colour is light.
The black frame (#73, #74, #80)
- The frame slab goes near-black neutral — the section hue survives only as a whisper of temperature. The colour moved into a static edge-light hugging the screen cutout: blue over the hero, coral at the close, calm on the reading pages. A 5th registered dimension (
--aurora-tint-c) carries how rich that light is, per section. - The tone follows the background, not the page's mood — the manifesto joins the blue register; long hue journeys drift over ~1s instead of snapping.
- The screen now recesses into the frame on all four edges (symmetric ambient occlusion + the glass casting down onto the band) — the contour reads machined, not printed.
The ambient loop is alive (#77, #78)
- A mount-order race had silenced the iridescence decay loop since the frame was born — intensity could rise on events but never settle. Fixed with a fire-time tick; the per-section rest floors finally govern.
- The default tone is the pre-JS state: no more colour wobble on page load.
The page learns its colour law (#79)
- Dark is the stage, every light or blue chapter is a sheet laid on it — inset, rounded under the device frame's radius, cast shadow, the stage breathing between chapters. The blue gallery is the same grammar: the sky plate.
The paper lane (#75, #76)
- A dark-only site learns to print: white paper, black ink, whole code panels moving as one block, external links keeping their address. The frame stays on screen where it belongs.
