3.27.0 - The sync stops restarting, and sold items stay sold

The sync could restart the same batch of changes for ever

When your host stopped the scheduled sync part way through importing a batch of changes - for using too much memory or time - nothing recorded how far it had got, and the next run began the same batch again. On some hosts that happened every hour, indefinitely, and nothing after that point reached your shop: no sales, no ended listings, no new listings.

• FIX: the sync now notes its place before every listing and carries on from there.
• A listing that stops the sync every time is tried twice, then stepped over. It still gets a stock check of its own, and Stock Review lists it.
• Each run stops well inside your host's limits and hands over to a fresh one, instead of being stopped part way.
• A batch of changes is read from eBay once, not again on every run.
• When your host does stop a run, the activity log now says so, and on which listing.
• NEW: your plugin screens say so if eBay's changes have not been read for more than a day.
• FIX: PHP 8 hosts that disable set_time_limit() stopped every sync on its first line.

Items sold on your website could go back in stock

When an eBay listing ended, the plugin set the product's stock from eBay's figures - and eBay never sees a website sale. So an item sold on your website, whose listing the plugin then ended, went back on sale.

• FIX: an ended listing can now only lower your stock, never raise it.
• NEW: Stock Review lists products this may already have happened to, with the website order beside each. Set them to 0, or keep a genuine restock. Relist and Push wait until you have looked.
• If you sell only on eBay: a higher figure eBay reports when a listing ends is no longer applied automatically. Stock Review lists it with a button to use it.

eBay sales come off your shop even when the sync is behind

• FIX: each eBay sale of a linked product now gets its own stock check within minutes. It can only lower stock.

Relisting

• FIX: Relist relisted sold-out and trashed products at their original quantity. Relist and Auto-Relist now check with eBay first, send your shop's quantity, and record the new end date.
• A restock after a sell-out is now relisted normally. A relist or push never moves a product to the trash.

Also

• FIX: a full sync now records when it started, so changes made while it ran are not skipped.
• FIX: empty address fields on imported eBay orders no longer become "Array".
• FIX: the image downloader no longer gets stuck on one product, and a photo download is capped at 30 seconds instead of five minutes.
