3.27.2 - A sync working through a backlog keeps going, and says so
A sync working through a backlog keeps going, and says so
- FIX: Some hosts end a long request without a PHP error. When that happened to a delta run, nothing was handed on, and each one cost the sync an hour. It now hands on straight away.
- FIX: When eBay could not be read for a listing - the day's calls used up, a timeout, a token that would not refresh, the relay down - the delta moved past the listing and marked the window read, so those changes were never applied. It now keeps its place and tries again after 15 minutes, then 30, then 60, then every two hours. Running out of calls, or having no token, never counts against a listing. A listing is moved past only if it fails three runs in a row while eBay is answering other calls; it then goes on Stock Review with a stock check of its own.
- FIX: Emergency Stop pressed while a delta run was part way through could be undone by that run. It now holds.
- FIX: The "eBay changes are not reaching your shop" notice gave the last death of any job as its reason - on one shop, a photo download that had nothing to do with the sync. It now gives only the sync's own.
- NEW: While the sync works through a backlog, or a Fetch Inventory runs, the notice says so in yellow. It shows how far the sync has got, and why it paused if eBay could not be read. It turns red, with the reason, when the sync has stopped moving. If eBay is refusing the shop's connection, it says to reconnect, and reconnecting sets the sync going again at once.
- FIX: The image batch now stops between photos when its time is up, instead of overrunning on a product with many photos until the host ends the request. The next batch carries on from there, and stopping part way is not counted as a failed attempt. A killed batch is now followed five minutes later, not sixteen.
- FIX: A product whose photos were fetched over several batches showed its main photo twice. It no longer does, and one already showing it twice is put right the next time its photos are fetched.
- FIX: A photo download that timed out "after 30403 milliseconds" was taken for a missing photo and dropped. Only a real 403, 404 or 410 from the server drops a photo now; a busy server is tried again.
- FIX: Photos kept outside eBay's servers get the same 30 s download limit as eBay's.
- FIX: Long syncs stop running out of memory on WordPress.com and similar hosts. The delta, the listing scan and the image batch now clear, between items, the memcached cache's per-request records and WordPress's query log under SAVEQUERIES.
