For anyone stuck part way through connecting to eBay.

The connection buttons

The connection card now reads Connect to eBay, Test connection, Disconnect — with the clearing action last, where a button you cannot undo belongs.

A part-finished connection can now be cleared

If connecting got part of the way through, your site could end up holding leftover details while still showing as not connected — and the button to clear them was hidden in exactly that state. So being told to disconnect and reconnect meant hunting for a button that was not there.

That button now appears as Reset connection whenever there is anything left to clear. Nothing on eBay is changed by it; it only clears what is stored on your own site.

Disconnecting now really does start fresh

Disconnecting cleared your tokens but left a half-finished handshake in place — and that leftover handshake is what makes the next attempt come back refused. It is now cleared too, so reconnecting genuinely starts from scratch.
