What's new

Telemetry standard v2 — request-trace correlation, session summaries, and a proper Telemetry & Privacy section in the README (what's collected, what never is — no queries, no article titles, no PII, no IPs). Opting out now disables all local side effects. Opt out any time: WIKIPEDIA_MCP_TELEMETRY=false (or DISABLE_TELEMETRY / DO_NOT_TRACK / NO_TELEMETRY).

Skills — new skills_list and skill_read tools give your AI agent maintained guidance (starting with error interpretation — including the 'empty success means missing page' caveat) without waiting for a release.
