EventBar 0.1.5
Changed
- Which types notify, the sound per type and the snooze now live on your account, per device, so the
dashboard's Devices tab shows and edits this Mac's choices and an iPhone has its own. The Mac keeps a
local copy so the panel never waits; choices made before this update are carried over on first launch.
EventBar 0.1.4
Added
- Icons and sounds per event type, set in the dashboard: an emoji or an image leads the
notification and the panel row, and the type names a sound from the Mac's own set. Right-click a
type in the panel (or use the speaker in the event window) to choose a different sound on this
Mac, or silence just that type here. An undefined type can send its owniconfield.
EventBar 0.1.3
Fixed
- The Account window's buttons were truncated; they now sit on two rows at full width.
EventBar 0.1.2
Changed
- The panel is easier to read with many types: each group has a pinned heading with today's total,
click it to fold the group (remembered on this Mac), rows alternate and have hairlines, zero
counts recede, and the hour column is bold when something happened in it.
EventBar 0.1.1
Added
- Clicking a notification now does something useful. If the event has a link, it opens: give an
event type a link template in the dashboard, such ashttps://admin.example.com/users/{uid},
or post aurlfield. Otherwise an event window opens with the body, every field, the type's
counts, the last events of that type seen on this Mac, and buttons to open it in the dashboard
or copy it as JSON. - Actions on the notification itself (hover or long-press): open the link, mute this type on
this Mac, snooze an hour. - Clicking a type's name in the panel opens its latest event.
- The dashboard opens on a type when the app sends you there.
Fixed
- An event replayed after a reconnect no longer notifies a second time.
EventBar 0.1.0
Added
- First release. Sign in with an email code, and every event your sites post to EventBar shows up
as a notification and a running count for the last hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and all time. - A switch per event type, kept on this Mac, so a noisy type can be quiet here and loud on another
device. Snooze everything for an hour or until tomorrow. - Groups from the dashboard, one per site or app, with a key each.
- Picks up where it left off: on paid plans the relay keeps events for a Mac that was asleep.
- Updates through Sparkle. Account, sign-out and account deletion from the Account window.
