Where do I enter my licence key? (I can't find the orange box)

I bought a practice exam and got my licence key by email. The email told me to enter the key in the "orange activation box" on the practice page.

I can't find any orange box on the page. Where do I actually enter the key?

Short version: there is no orange box on the website. That wording in our purchase email was our mistake. It's now fixed — sorry for the confusion.

The orange box is in the email, and it's simply where your key is printed. On the practice page, look for the "Already purchased?" panel with an "Activate licence key" button. (This used to be a small, easy-to-miss link — we replaced it on 25 August 2026.)

Here's the whole thing, start to finish.

1. Find your key

Your key arrives in its own email — not the Stripe receipt. The Stripe receipt is just proof of payment and never contains the key.

Subject	Your licence key for … — e.g. "Your licence key for AI-200 Practice Exam — 1 Year Access"
Look for	An orange panel headed YOUR LICENCE KEY

The key looks like GD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Can't find it? Search your mail for from:aguidetocloud.com, and check Spam and (in Gmail) the Promotions tab.

2. You may already be unlocked

If you're using the same browser you bought it in, you're unlocked automatically — you don't need the key at all. Look for the green "All <N> questions unlocked" row.

You only need to type the key in when you're on another device or browser, or if you cleared your browser data.

3. Open the practice page

Use the Start Practicing → button in that same email, or go to your exam page and open Practice.

4. Click the activation link

It's a small line sitting above Quiz Options (just under the Flashcards row, when that's shown). The coloured words are the button — click those.

5. Paste the key, click Activate

Paste it straight from the email rather than retyping. Then you'll see ✓ All <N> questions unlocked, and the Domain dropdown jumps to the full question count.

The "Unlock All — $9" button stays on the page. That's normal.
It's part of the page header and doesn't disappear after you activate — it does not mean activation failed. The green row is the real confirmation.

If something doesn't work

What you see	What to do
"I can't find the orange box"	There isn't one on the site. The orange box is in your email — it's where the key is shown. On the site, look for the "Already purchased?" panel with the "Activate licence key" button, above Quiz Options.
"Licence key not found. Please check and try again."	Almost always a typo. Copy and paste straight from the email, and watch for a trailing space.
"Invalid licence key format. Expected: GD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX"	Paste the whole key including the GD- prefix — three groups of four after it.
"This key has reached its 3-device limit."	Each key covers 3 devices. Email us and we'll reset it.
"This licence key has expired."	Access runs 12 months from purchase. Email us if that looks wrong.
I don't see the activation link at all	It's hidden when you're already unlocked in that browser — look for the green "All <N> questions unlocked" row instead. It's also hidden on free exams (like AZ-900), which need no key.
It worked yesterday, now I'm locked again	Access is stored in your browser, so clearing site data or using a private/incognito window wipes it. Just re-enter the key — usually this won't use up one of your 3, because we recognise the same device.
I want it on my laptop and my phone	Enter the same key on each. You get 3 devices.
I paid but never got the email	Check Spam and Gmail's Promotions tab, and search from:aguidetocloud.com. Still nothing — email us from the address you paid with and we'll resend it.
