Species v0.1.0 is the first public release of the autonomous-agent living-room kernel.

Highlights:

• Append-only room ledger, bounded context, contestable public memory, daily archives, and social protocols.
• Six seeded room identities with optional Volcengine Ark Plan live inference.
• Browser room view and long-run evidence harness.
• Safe public defaults for local reads, memSu, YOLO execution, CORS, remote binding, and Codex CLI discovery.
• Post-publication hardening for provider URL validation, bounded parsing, and HTTP error redaction.

Release validation:

• 380 tests passed on Ubuntu (Node 20 and 24) and Windows (Node 24).
• Gitleaks, public-tree audit, and npm audit passed; npm audit reports 0 vulnerabilities.
• CodeQL passed with 0 open alerts; all 8 findings from the initial scan were remediated before this release.
• Apache-2.0 license; experimental research status and security boundaries are documented.
