Bootstrap UI Framework
We include Bootstrap as the UI framework of choice.
There are several other great libraries to choose from, but we had to choose one, and this is it. Bootstrap is mature, widely used and looks good. A lot of the built in components we provide are styled to match, and rely on Bootstrap being available, so switching to another framework, or removing it altogether, will be a task!
That being said, we use the SASS version of Bootstrap and not the plain CSS one, so changing the look and feel to suit your needs is easy.
NOTE: Unlike other front-end assets, we include this as a gem, rather than through Bower, since in this case it affords us much easier integration and customization.
To reduce the application size, comment out the Bootstrap modules you don't require in these two files:
