What's New

New Features

• Window snap mode — hover over any window to highlight it with a blue border; click to snap the selection to that window's exact bounds. Drag as normal for a custom area. Toggle with Tab, capture full screen with F. Right-clicking a highlighted window quick saves/copies instantly.
• Live QR & barcode detection — scans the selected area in real time using Apple Vision. An inline bar appears with Open, Copy, and Dismiss actions. Redetects automatically as you move the selection.
• Translation in OCR window — translate extracted text to any language directly in the results panel. Pick a language, click Translate, toggle back with Show Original.
• Background removal — new toolbar action using Apple Vision to remove the background from a selection and copy as a transparent PNG (macOS 14+).

Improvements

• Text tool — Enter inserts a new line; confirm with the new ✓ button or by switching tools. Fixed multi-line position drift.
• Preferences rebuilt with AutoLayout — no more hardcoded coordinates; all tabs size and scroll correctly.
• Uploads tab — always visible, scrollable list with aligned Copy buttons.
• Capture sound — no more latency on quick save (sound cached at startup).
• OCR Cmd+C fix — copying text in the OCR panel now works correctly.
