Microphone recording — record voice audio during screen recordings. New mic toggle button in the recording toolbar (off by default). Microphone permission is requested only when first enabled — users who don't need it are never prompted. Audio is written as a separate track in the MP4 file.
Multi-anchor lines & arrows — right-click (or Control-click) any line or arrow annotation to add anchor points. Drag individual anchors to create complex curves through multiple waypoints. Smooth Catmull-Rom spline rendering through all points.
Share button — new share button in the right toolbar opens the native macOS sharing menu (AirDrop, Messages, Mail, etc.)
Number format options — number annotations now support four formats: numeric (1, 2, 3), uppercase Roman (I, II, III), uppercase letters (A, B, C), and lowercase letters (a, b, c). Start-at value adjustable via stepper in the options row.
"Right-click to add points" hint — subtle hint text in the secondary toolbar when line or arrow tools are selected
Changed
Loupe performance — loupe annotations now use the raw screenshot instead of the composited image, eliminating O(n²) re-rendering lag when placing multiple loupes
Delay capture moved to menu bar — the per-capture delay toolbar button has been removed. Delay is now a persistent setting in the menu bar only.
Fixed
Sparkle auto-updates — fixed CI signing pipeline that was re-signing Sparkle's XPC installer services with the app's sandbox entitlements, preventing the updater from writing to the app bundle. XPC services are now signed without sandbox entitlements as Sparkle requires.
Number tool crash — fixed crash when switching to the number tool with alpha format and start-at value of 0. Input is now clamped and stepper minimum raised to 1.
Annotation bounding rect — bounding rectangle now accounts for all anchor points and control points, fixing hit-testing and selection for complex curved annotations
