• Lasso marquee selection — hold Shift and drag on empty space from any tool to draw a selection rectangle. All annotations intersecting the marquee are selected on release. Blue dashed border with translucent fill while dragging.
• "Open from Clipboard" hotkey — new configurable global hotkey in Preferences > Shortcuts (default: None). Opens the clipboard image in the editor from anywhere.

Changed

• Select tool removed from shortcuts — annotation selection is now handled entirely via click-to-select, Shift+click multi-select, and Shift+drag lasso from any tool. No dedicated tool needed.

Fixed

• Blurry screenshots on mixed-DPI setups — replaced tiffRepresentation with direct CGImage extraction in the image encoder. Preserves exact pixel data regardless of which display the app runs on. Fixes quality loss when Retina and non-Retina monitors are mixed.
• Purple selection border in recordings — the selection border overlay now draws entirely outside the capture rect, and macshot's UI chrome windows (border + HUD) are excluded from SCStream capture.
