Changed
- Recording always produces MP4 — format picker removed from recording settings and preferences. GIF export is now a post-recording option in the video editor via an MP4/GIF toggle, so you can decide the format after seeing what you captured.
- Preferences renamed to Settings — all references updated throughout the app.
Fixed
- Annotation drawing performance — overlay was redrawing every annotation from scratch on every frame (even for cursor movement). Committed annotations are now cached into a single image, making drawing with many annotations smooth.
- Dragging/resizing annotations with many drawings — during drag, resize, or rotation of an annotation, only the manipulated annotation redraws live; all others use a cached image.
- Rotation lag on annotations — the selection outline glow was regenerating expensive CIFilter pipeline on every frame during rotation. Now cached at rotation=0 and rotated via GPU transform at draw time.
- Selection outline clipping on rotated shapes — the glow bitmap was sized to the unrotated bounding box, clipping rotated shapes. Now expands to the rotated bounding box.
- Selection outline not following rotation — outline glow cache wasn't invalidated on rotation change, showing a stale unrotated outline.
- Dock icon click opens Settings over video editor — clicking the macshot dock icon when a video editor window was already open would open Settings on top. Now only opens Settings when no windows are visible.
- Video editor ignores custom accent color — trim handles, play button, and other controls were hardcoded to purple instead of using the user's custom accent color.
