• Import/export settings: back up your preferences to a file and move them to another Mac or a clean install (Preferences → General → Settings Backup). Upload credentials, your save folder, and screenshot history are never included. Answers where settings are stored (issues #265, #280).
• URL scheme macshot://ocr-translate?target=<lang>: capture a region, OCR it, translate, and overlay the translation in place over the original text (WeChat-style). target is a language code (e.g. zh-CN); omit it to use your default translation language. Triggerable from Raycast, Alfred, Shortcuts, or the command line (issue #283).

Fixed

• Text Recognition window no longer spawns unexpectedly on wake, unlock, or connecting a monitor after using OCR once. An OCR/record/quick-capture/scroll request made while a capture was already in flight or during recording could strand its pending mode and apply it to the next capture (issue #276).
• Closing the OCR, audio-merge, or permission-onboarding windows with the title-bar close button no longer leaks the controller. The audio-merge window's close button now still delivers the finished recording instead of silently dropping it.
