Book Reader 3.0.0 - first release prepared for the Obsidian community catalogue.

Reading

  • EPUB, FB2 and PDF in a paginated book view or continuous scrolling
  • Reading position, highlights and notes are stored in the vault, so they sync
  • Highlight colours, comments on a passage, quotes exported into the book note
  • Contents, full-text search, footnotes with a way back, reading goal timer

Interface

  • Follows the Obsidian theme by default; light / dark / sepia / e-ink available
  • Adapts to phone, tablet and desktop: touch-sized controls, safe areas, keyboard-aware windows
  • Russian and English, no untranslated strings

Optional network features (off until you set them up)

  • Passage breakdown through an AI service of your choice
  • Translation through Google Translate

No telemetry, no ads, no self-updating. PDF rendering works offline: the pdf.js worker is embedded in the build.
