Crafting and Transforms
Select an output in Storage or Craftable. The preview shows the exact recipe, output count, ingredients, station, Processing requirement, Fuel, Mana, tool work, and other typed costs.
Recipes for the same exact output place currently craftable variants first. The header reports the selected recipe, craftable recipe count, and total recipe count.
An unsupported output shows a neutral message instead of guessing.
Use ×1, ×8, ×64, or Max. Fixed amounts dim when the complete batch cannot be made. Max considers all ingredients, typed resources, station work, tool work, and destination room, then chooses the largest complete amount that fits.
Craft Output defaults to Player: results fill the 36-slot player inventory first and overflow returns to the Core. Storage sends the complete result and remainders to the Core. Non-item primary outputs always stay in Storage.
Every craft is simulate-then-commit. If all outputs and container remainders cannot fit, nothing is consumed.
EMI is the required client recipe viewer. Auto Storage can render a matching public EMI recipe and can execute the exact recipe selected through the terminal. This is one-level magic crafting; missing intermediates are not recursively crafted.
Transform is a deterministic conversion shortcut for one exact input.
- Put one input in the upper slot.
- Leave the target on Auto to show all compatible uses, or choose a produced resource such as Fuel, FE, Mana, or another addon resource.
- Click a whole conversion card.
- Choose ×1, ×8, ×64, or Max.
Auto is a search aid only. It does not select or consume anything.
Examples:
- Runtime furnace fuels convert to their current burn-time value in Fuel ticks.
- Blaze Rod adds 1,200 Brew Energy; Blaze Powder adds 600.
- Finite axes add remaining durability × (Unbreaking level + 1) Axe Uses; Unbreakable axes supply infinity.
- Supported generator conversions may also require installed station work.
Container transfer is not a Transform: batteries, tanks, Mana containers, and supported addon containers deposit or withdraw directly.
