ValheimCli bridge 0.5.0 adds a local HTTP/JSON interface for agents using existing shell or HTTP tools. The native Rust CLI is optional, needs no Node.js, and retains its tested TCP connection to the same bridge.

  • The Thunderstore ZIP and all four CLI ZIPs include skills/valheim-control/SKILL.md.
  • Install the skill with npx skills add swear01/valheim-cli --skill valheim-control, or copy the included skill folder to your agent. The skills installer uses Node.js; playing through the mod or native CLI does not.
  • Windows CLI opens no console window. Agent startup uses an isolated Windows desktop.
  • CI passed on Windows, Linux, macOS ARM64 and macOS x64. Real Valheim 1.0.17 on Windows passed native menu/world selection, movement/look, inventory gates, direct console execution, stop, pause/resume, HTTP/TCP replay rejection, 100 sequential reads and eight concurrent reads. No foreground, cursor-clip or visible console changes were detected during the observed run.

Experimental: multiplayer, long sessions and full gameplay are not verified. During world loading, read requests can expire; wait for readiness. Never blindly retry an uncertain write. Keep the local token private.

Assets: ValheimCli-0.5.0.zip is the Thunderstore mod. valheim-0.6.0-<platform>.zip is the optional native CLI, which embeds the same bridge for its installer. CLI and bridge version numbers are independent.
