With the latest version of VS Code (1.107.x at the time of writing) we were seeing consistent extension host crashes in our CI on Linux (#2008). In order to remedy this I've pinned our tests to use VS Code 1.106.3 (#2010), but we should remove this once the VS Code issue has been resolved.
