Releases: switchlane-ai/switchlane
Release list
Switchlane v0.1.3
Switchlane SDKs now default to https://switchlane.ai.
Updated package homepages, OpenAPI contact/server URLs and Stripe checkout return URLs to the new domain. Server, SDK, lockfile and MCP client versions are aligned at 0.1.3.
Added regression tests for the default API address and custom base URL overrides in the TypeScript and Python sync/async clients. Package names, API contracts and licenses are unchanged. Self-hosted users can continue setting their own base URL; this release does not configure DNS or deploy the hosted service.
Validation
Server and TypeScript SDK builds passed. All 13 Node unit tests passed; all 5 Python tests passed against both source and the built wheel. Python distribution metadata checks passed.
GitHub CI passed all four jobs: Node, Python, database-backed integration tests/benchmark, and the deterministic demo. The included benchmark remains a synthetic smoke check, not a production accuracy claim.
Packages
Attached: the npm tarball, Python wheel and source distribution. Their hashes were checked against the published registry files.
Switchlane v0.1.2
Repository and SDK metadata update following the move to switchlane-ai/switchlane.
- Updated repository, issue, clone, OpenAPI and CI badge links.
- Set package authorship and project copyright notices to Ekrem Aksoy; security contact is ekremaksoy@gmail.com.
- Included SDK documentation and aligned server, OpenAPI, MCP client and SDK versions at 0.1.2.
The hosted API address, package names, API contracts and license terms are unchanged. npm and PyPI already have 0.1.1, so this update uses 0.1.2 across the project.
Validation: server and TypeScript SDK builds; 11 Node unit tests; 3 Python tests against both source and the built wheel; Python distribution metadata checks. GitHub CI passed all four jobs, including database-backed integration tests and the deterministic demo.

Switchlane v0.1.0
Switchlane v0.1.0
Switchlane is an open-source runtime routing layer for multi-agent systems. It selects eligible agents and MCP-backed services by task fit, quality, cost, and latency, and can abstain instead of returning a weak match.
Highlights
- semantic routing with pgvector and bge-small-en-v1.5 embeddings
- capability-first ranking with configurable confidence-based abstention
- optional provider-neutral OpenAI-compatible intent extraction and reranking
- MCP recommendation and opt-in execution paths
- deterministic, signup-free, host-port-independent
npm run demo - idempotent database migrations and PostgreSQL/Redis integration tests
- TypeScript and Python API clients
- non-root Chainguard production container
Install
- TypeScript:
npm install switchlane@0.1.0 - Python:
pip install switchlane==0.1.0
Reproducible smoke benchmark
The bundled ten-case synthetic benchmark reports Switchlane 10/10 and a lexical baseline 9/10 without using an external LLM. This validates deterministic ranking and abstention behavior; it is not a production-accuracy claim.
Known limitations
- execution currently supports MCP endpoints only
- A2A and REST execution are not included in this release
- production evaluation against supervisor-LLM routing remains future validation work
- npm reports upstream
sharpadvisories inherited through the Transformers package; the affected image-processing path is not used by text embeddings
