Document/Office files preview [enhancement] #3304

Please describe the problem you're trying to solve

Great opensource product, but lacking some feature which is important for (white collar) people working with documents (and not images or audio files) and pushes them using spyware called Windows 10+.
It is scroll-able document preview. Most importantly ODF v.1.2 document formats (ODT, ODS, ODP) which is main format, open source community is using, but can include also semi-open Microsofts' OOXML file types (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX), which is mostly used by "proprietorists" or those, who don't care, for convenience and as both formats have similarities (zipped XMLs).
Linux is still sharply lacking file managers (Dolphin has it, but not the best implementation) with this essential feature.
Thanks in advance for considering!

Would you be willing to contribute this feature?

  • Yes, I'll give it a shot

Describe the solution you'd like

Document previewer, like already implemented previewer for other types of files.
