This new version now uses https://dimsemenov.com/plugins/magnific-popup/ for the reader. The new update removes the paged/list view buttons and now makes it so you can either use list view by scrolling OR if you click on the images it will open up the 'reader view' mode which lets you use arrow keys, touch controls, or by clicking on the image in the viewer.

MR3 Release notes

  • New settings menu added called 'WP-MangaReader
    • Shows instructions on how to use the reader-template.php code
      • This adds a Manga List page that shows the 3 latest updates and sorts by latest update as default. There is also an option to 'Sort by A-Z'.
    • Removed Paged/List View button due to changes mentioned below this
    • Integrated 'Magnific Popup' javascript into the reader
      • This change adds a lightbox gallery viewer to the reader for better mobile viewing and adds touch controls to the reader now(to use reader view mode click on any image on the chapter page!)
      • Images now preload properly and adds 'Loading images' to the reader
    • Updates to manga-reader.php and manga-reader.js to work properly with the new script
