📥 Installation

For macOS Users:

1. Download the DMG file below (look for CacheCleaner-v1.0.dmg)
2. Open the downloaded DMG file by double-clicking it
3. Drag the Cache Cleaner app icon to the Applications folder icon
4. Eject the DMG from your desktop or Finder sidebar
5. Launch Cache Cleaner from your Applications folder

First Time Setup:

If you see a security warning:

1. Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → General
2. Click "Open Anyway" next to the Cache Cleaner warning

Grant permissions (if needed):

1. Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy
2. Select "Full Disk Access"
3. Click the lock 🔒 and enter your password
4. Click the + button and add Cache Cleaner

🎯 How to Use

1. Launch Cache Cleaner
2. Check the boxes for the cache types you want to clean
3. Click "Calculate Size" to see how much space you can free (optional)
4. Click "Clean Selected" to remove the caches
5. See how much space you freed!

💡 Tip: Close all other apps before cleaning for best results.

⚙️ Requirements

• macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later
• About 5 MB of disk space

🛡️ Safety

• Automatically skips Apple system files
• Won't delete files it doesn't have permission to access
• System caches are skipped to prevent system issues
• All cleaning operations are safe and reversible
