F4Wx is a real weather tool for BMS 4.36+ that downloads and converts real weather (GRIB2) for use in the simulator.
What's new in 2.2.0
- Fixed GRIB temperatures using ground/skin TMP instead of 2 m air temperature when both are present (e.g. GFS), which could show unrealistically high values
- Fixed Sync With Real Time for BMS 4.35+ Zulu fmap loading (no longer applies theater timezone to sync; Initial Time / FMAP names are Zulu)
- BMS Time status shows Zulu time
- Renamed preview status Current Time to Forecast Time; display uses YYYY-MM-DD HH:MMZ (aligned with GFS picker)
- Removed unused theater timezone from presets and Custom theater dialog; renamed sync option to Sync With Real Time
- Default Initial Time hour is now 00Z (was 09)
- NOAA download progress shows forecast Zulu timestamp with GFS step (e.g. f+3) instead of forecast hour number alone
