New Features

  • Integration with Synadia Server, Synadia's distribution of the NATS Server that is optimized to work with Control Plane
  • Provision new Systems through the API / UI and use guided provisioning instructions to install Synadia Server
  • Revamped Imports / Exports API to fully support NATS Imports/Exports

Breaking Changes

  • Control Plane will no longer create outbound connections to nats-server
  • nats-server must be changed to use synadia-server, which will create an inbound connection to Control Plane

Upgrading from 1.0.x

  1. Prior to upgrading to 1.1.0, remove systems from configuration file. Systems are already stored in the Database so they will not be lost.
  2. Perform the upgrade to 1.0.x
  3. After the upgrade, all systems will show up in a "Provisioning" state. Swap out nats-server binaries, Docker containers, or Helm Charts for the equivalent synadia-server asset, and configure with the Control Plane URL and Agent Token from the provisioning instructions.
