[3.5.0]
New Features
Playback Support: Added -play flag to enable "real-time" playback of generated audio sequences through the external tool ffplay. This allows users to listen to sequences directly without generating WAV files.
Export to MP3: Added -mp3 flag to export generated audio sequences as MP3 files using the ffmpeg tool. This provides a compressed audio format option alongside WAV output.
WASM Support: SynapSeq can now be compiled to WebAssembly (WASM) for use in web browsers and other WASM-compatible environments. This enables running SynapSeq directly in the browser for interactive audio generation. See the WebAssembly Documentation for details on usage and integration.
Go Library Enhancements: The SynapSeq Go library has been updated to include new functions to get sequence data; sample rate, content, presetlist, volume, gainlevel and background path from a sequence. This allows developers to access more detailed information about sequences when integrating SynapSeq into their Go applications.
Improvements
Windows Native Integration: Improved the -install-file-association feature to change default behavior when opening .spsq files. Now, double-clicking a .spsq file will open it in SynapSeq for playback with -play instead of generating a WAV file. This provides a more immediate listening experience. Users can still generate WAV files by using the context menu options.
Added export to MP3 in context menu (Windows): When file associations are installed, the context menu now includes an option to "Convert to MP3", allowing users to quickly generate MP3 files from .spsq files via right-click.
