• In controller mode the party panel shows what the menu's bar is on, after the Ultima V port. On Ztats each member's line shows their experience toward the next level (blue where Lord British owes one), on Ready weapon the weapon in hand, on Wear armour the armour worn.
• In a shop's Buy list and in Ready's and Wear's lists, a card over the party panel weighs the item for the member against what they have: damage a hit and reach, or how often foes would hit, green where it is better and red where it is worse, with the price (red where the party is short of it) or how many are in the pack. In the spell lists the card gives the spell's book name, its cost against the caster's mana and what it does. These replace the line that ran under the menu.
• The map's cursor is drawn in the frame's colours, dark outside and light inside, with mitred corners, in place of yellow brackets that were lost against the inked chart.
