  • Notify once when a loaded go.mod buffer starts fetching dependency versions;
    set notify_on_load = false to disable this notification independently of logging.

v0.1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 22 Oct 19:09
  • Publish GitHub releases automatically after tag CI passes, using release
    notes from the changelog and the built-in GitHub token.
  • Add real lazy.nvim installation and loading integration tests with LazyVim's
    normal plugin import and defaults.
  • Document LazyVim installation, release selection, and automatic setup.

v0.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@syz51 syz51 released this 22 Oct 18:46

First tagged release of go-mod.nvim.

Requires Neovim 0.12 or newer and Go 1.16 or newer. Plenary is no longer required.

  • Check required Go modules and show dependency status as virtual text.
  • Select dependency updates with a keyboard-accessible, resizable picker.
  • Run updates against the originating module with saved-file and effective-Go-flags checks.
  • Resolve selected versions together and verify the resulting requirements.
  • Keep asynchronous checks tied to their buffers, with cancellation, concurrency limits, and timeouts.
  • Correct quoted go.mod parsing and semantic version comparison.
  • Initialize automatically, refresh loaded go.mod buffers, and provide health and logging diagnostics.
  • Include offline regression tests, CI, installation help, contribution instructions, and the MIT license.

Existing users should remove the Plenary dependency from their go-mod.nvim plugin spec and ensure Neovim is at least 0.12.

Install with lazy.nvim:

{
  "syz51/go-mod.nvim",
  tag = "v0.1.0",
  ft = "gomod",
  opts = {},
}

Run :checkhealth go-mod after installation. Review go.mod/go.sum changes and run your Go project's tests after updating dependencies.
