To install manually, download main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css from the latest release into <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/marginote/, reload Obsidian, and enable Marginote under Community plugins. Fresh installations since 0.1.1 default to Annotation cards only and Near text · follows pointer; 0.1.0 used stationary hover.

• Cards now follow the pointer to the left, below, and right of supported links in Reading View and Live Preview, within the same note pane.
• Scrolling can reveal a card under a stationary pointer, including after Live Preview recreates its editor content.
• Reading View cards retain the correct event handling when moved into a pop-out window.
• The English sample and 38.6-second demo now show both modes, three-direction movement, and varied Lorem ipsum reading passages.

Fresh installations use Annotation cards only and Near text · follows pointer. Upgrades preserve saved settings: choose that automatic-preview option to switch from stationary hover. Over link · stays in place and Off remain available.

This is a new patch release. The original 0.1.0 tag and assets remain unchanged.

Known issue found during additional release testing: Reading view cards opened in a new pop-out window can retain event handling in the original window, so Escape and hover may not behave correctly. The correction is available in Marginote 0.1.1, together with restored pointer-following proximity previews. The 0.1.0 tag and assets are preserved.
