What's changed

Added

  • The Turbo Reader skill: a versioned SKILL.md that teaches an AI agent when
    to use your feeds and how to use the tools well. Install, update or remove
    it for Claude Code or Codex from Settings > AI agents, or save it for any
    other agent.
  • It keeps itself current. A new get_skill MCP tool hands out the app's
    copy, and the skill tells the agent to check its version against it and
    replace itself when it is old. The app also checks the copies it
    installed, and an old one shows in the notification bell with an Update
    button.

Downloads

Pick the installer for your platform below.

  • Windows: .msi or .exe
  • macOS: .dmg, with separate Apple silicon and Intel builds
  • Linux: .AppImage or .deb

Note on unsigned builds

These binaries are not code-signed yet. On Windows, SmartScreen
shows "Windows protected your PC": click More info, then Run anyway.
On macOS, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open
Anyway, or run xattr -cr "/Applications/Turbo Reader.app".
Check any download against the SHA-256 checksums at the end of
these notes or in SHA256SUMS.txt.
