Makes HP Click run natively on Apple Silicon instead of under Rosetta.

ClickGraft makes a copy of the HP Click you already have and swaps its Intel
Electron runtime for the official Apple Silicon build of the same version. Your
original app is opened for reading and left exactly as it is. You end up with
two apps; to undo everything, drag the new one to the Trash.

It ships no HP software and cannot obtain it for you. You need your own
installed HP Click 4.8.117.

Median of three runs each, automatic updates off on both. Under Rosetta the app
isn't slow all the way through — it stops dead seventeen times while you aren't
even using it.

Installing

  1. Download ClickGraft.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Drag ClickGraft.app wherever you like.
  3. Double-click it and follow the six screens.

Signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized, so there's no right-clicking to
open it and no "unidentified developer" warning. The only requirement is Apple's
Command Line Tools, and macOS offers to install those itself on first launch.

Two things to know

Don't run both apps at once. They share your printers and settings, so
opening one while the other runs makes the second quit silently. It looks like
it failed to start.

Only HP Click 4.8.117 is supported so far. ClickGraft refuses versions it
hasn't been tested against rather than guessing. New HP releases are meant to be
picked up quickly — most of the work after an update is mechanical. If you have
a version it doesn't recognise, the app writes a description of it for you;
open an issue with that attached.

Not fully verified

Real printing against a DesignJet has not been tested end to end — nesting,
auto-rotation, roll selection, an actual job. The build verifies as native,
signed and launching correctly, and the app talks to a T1600, but if you print
with it, reports are very welcome.
