  • The stream flags only commerce gaps: a superroot or infrastructure observe no longer prints a "no agreement" line (agreement rule lane).

@taifoon/cli 0.3.8

  • A generic read (usage, role, projects, …) prints the layer's answer on a terminal, not the runner's wrapper.
  • match gpu-inference --model says when the match index did not answer, instead of calling every listing "not indexed".

@taifoon/cli 0.3.7

The CLI finished against a live contract: every usage line taifoon help prints is run on a terminal against the layer (or skipped with its reason).

  • taifoon <command> --help prints that command's usage.
  • Every error says what to run next; no raw JSON on a terminal (--json and pipes keep it).
  • New taifoon rpc: our RPC per chain (price per 1M, proved reads, WebSocket, market low), rpc key, rpc test <chain>.
  • taifoon match: the price per canonical unit, legs per fee module, --unit; match gpu-inference --model <id> as one table with delivery state.
  • taifoon keys: a created key gets its own Keychain entry (whole prefix); revoke deletes it.
  • The README's command list is generated from the command table: 51 commands, 154 usage lines.

taifoon cli 0.3.2 "Austru"

taifoon cli 0.3.2 "Austru"

Fixed: taifoon send works from an installed package. In 0.3.1 every taifoon send failed with
Cannot find module …/@taifoon/resale/ports/genome.mjs, because the command loaded code that was not in the published package.
The genome and envelope builders it needs now ship inside the package (vendor/), and the release binaries embed them.

Added: taifoon new --contracts <dir> writes a Foundry project on taifoon-contracts
(the agent-job example).

Checked before release: the packed package installed into an empty prefix runs every command's --help, taifoon send --dry
and taifoon new --contracts.

Install: npm i -g @taifoon/cli@0.3.2 · curl -fsSL https://www.taifoon.io/install.sh | sh · brew install taifoon-io/tap/taifoon.

taifoon cli 0.3.0 "Austru"

@yawningmonsoon yawningmonsoon released this 15 Oct 12:53
bc09c77

taifoon cli 0.3.0 "Austru" — the first release of train 1 (Austru) of the Taifoon release trains.

What is new since 0.2.4

  • One capability table drives the CLI verbs, taifoon mcp (the local MCP server) and the agent session; each row is filtered by your role on the coordination layer.
  • taifoon ask / taifoon studio: an agent session in the terminal over the layer's reads (proofs, protocols, projects, pipe, owners, docs and the debug checks). It proposes a command and runs it only after you confirm; --readonly keeps it to reads. Models: your Anthropic key, the layer's metered lanes, or your local Claude Code.
  • taifoon role (your role and what it allows) and taifoon usage (energy in and out, cost and earnings for your key).
  • taifoon owners / owners get / owners claim: the ownership records of products, protocols and chains, and a claim with a signature.
  • taifoon resource list · logs · metrics · stream · start · stop · restart: your own resources on Taifoon hosting, through the API (a key is required; you see only your own).
  • taifoon protocols, protocol order · stuck · paths · quote, projects, stream stats · status · subscribe: cross-chain orders by stage with their proofs, stuck orders with a reason, measured delivery times.
  • taifoon debug rpc · protocol · order · envelope · project · resource: one verdict with its findings from several reads.
  • taifoon docs, help <topic>, workflow check: the layer's language, studio blocks and skills ship with the release.
  • taifoon phases, venues, partners, probe, reach, facts, prove, act (signing stays with your wallet).

Install

  • npm (Node.js 20 or later): npm i -g @taifoon/cli
  • a standalone binary (macOS or Linux, arm64 or x64): curl -fsSL https://www.taifoon.io/install.sh | sh
  • Homebrew: brew install taifoon-io/tap/taifoon

Verify a download
SHA256SUMS lists every archive. It is signed with sigstore by this repository's release workflow, with no stored key:

cosign verify-blob --bundle SHA256SUMS.sigstore.json \
  --certificate-identity https://github.com/taifoon-io/cli/.github/workflows/release.yml@refs/heads/main \
  --certificate-oidc-issuer https://token.actions.githubusercontent.com SHA256SUMS
grep taifoon-cli-0.3.0-darwin-arm64.tar.gz SHA256SUMS | shasum -a 256 -c -

The macOS binaries are not notarized by Apple: a copy downloaded with a browser carries the quarantine flag (xattr -d com.apple.quarantine taifoon clears it); the install script, Homebrew and npm are not affected.
