Tailscaled Error on Raspberry Pi 5 Update

I recently ran sudo apt-get upgrade on my Raspberry Pi 5. Now I'm getting the following error:

sudo tailscale up
failed to connect to local tailscaled (which appears to be running as tailscaled, pid 2965). Got error: Failed to connect to local Tailscale daemon for /localapi/v0/status; systemd tailscaled.service not running. Error: dial unix /var/run/tailscale/tailscaled.sock: connect: no such file or directory

I also tried purging and reinstalling, getting the following

Unpacking tailscale (1.88.4) ...
Setting up tailscale (1.88.4) ...
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/tailscaled.service → /lib/systemd/system/tailscaled.service.
Could not execute systemctl:  at /usr/bin/deb-systemd-invoke line 145.

Seems to actually stem from the following logs:

flag provided but not defined: -accept-dns

Seems my --accept-dns=false in override.conf is not supported. Unfortunate.
