Gemini Helper 1.20.0

This release moves dashboard functionality to the standalone Dashboard Hub plugin, making dashboard ownership and development independent from Gemini Helper.

Highlights

  • Removed the built-in dashboard editor and widget implementation.

  • Added integration with Dashboard Hub for:

    • Gemini model discovery
    • Chat handoff
    • Headless workflow execution
    • Base generation
    • Text rewriting
    • Workflow generation

  • Added support for dynamically contributed runtime agent skills.

  • Retained the existing “Create dashboard” command for compatibility; it now delegates to Dashboard Hub.

  • Added a migration notice when existing .dashboard files are detected without Dashboard Hub installed.

  • Added timeline-reading support for AI tools.

  • Updated documentation and removed obsolete dashboard documentation and assets.

  • Improved API key normalization when loading settings.

  • Added and updated tests for Dashboard Hub integration, runtime skills, and vault tools.

Migration note

Users with existing .dashboard files should install and enable the separate Dashboard Hub plugin to continue opening and managing them.
