Feature Layer 0.5
Live ArcGIS feature layers on the ATAK map, drawn with the symbology their
community uses — every point, line and area stays a feature you can tap for its
attributes.
What's new in 0.5
Multi-part areas draw correctly. An ArcGIS service sends every ring of a
feature in one list, and only the winding order says which is an outer ring and
which is a hole. Feature Layer read them the other way, so an area made of
several separate pieces — a fire perimeter of a dozen separate burn islands, for
example — drew as one piece full of holes that were not there. Those areas had
no fill and came apart as you zoomed in. They now draw as what they are.
A CA Air Intel flight is labeled by its mission. Aircraft perimeters that
carry a mission and no incident name were labeled with their status instead, so
every perimeter on the map read "Active". They now show the mission.
A feature type's fill setting sticks. On a layer whose types come from a
field in the data, setting the fill on one type reached the map but reverted on
the next refresh, and changing a fill removed the area labels until the layer
was reloaded. Both fixed. The feature list no longer shows a phantom type that
nothing was ever in.
